ABG Hauling LLC Position Overview ABG Hauling LLC is seeking dependable, safety-focused CDL Drivers to join our growing team. We specialize in dump truck hauling, aggregate transport, site work support, material delivery, and heavy equipment hauling throughout North Carolina. This role is ideal for drivers who take pride in their equipment, understand the demands of the construction industry, and want to be part of a hardworking, family-oriented company that values reliability, professionalism, and hustle. As a CDL Driver, you will safely operate dump trucks and other commercial vehicles to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, asphalt, rock, sand, and construction equipment to and from job sites. Drivers are expected to maintain safe operations, complete inspections, communicate effectively with dispatch and contractors, and represent the company professionally on every job. Key Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks, tractor-trailers, lowboy trailers, and other commercial vehicles. Transport construction materials, aggregates, equipment, and supplies to designated job sites. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily to ensure DOT compliance and vehicle safety. Secure loads properly and ensure safe loading/unloading procedures are followed. Maintain accurate logs, tickets, delivery records, and inspection reports. Communicate with dispatch, foremen, contractors, and customers regarding schedules and deliveries. Monitor truck performance and immediately report maintenance or mechanical issues. Follow all DOT regulations, FMCSA requirements, company policies, and job site safety procedures. Operate equipment safely in construction zones, quarries, plants, and uneven terrain. Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned trucks and equipment. Assist with tarping loads, checking hydraulic systems, and ensuring proper weight distribution. Represent the company professionally with customers, vendors, inspectors, and job site personnel. Qualifications & Requirements Valid Class A or Class B CDL license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred. Experience operating dump trucks, lowboys, tractor-trailers, or heavy haul equipment preferred. Ability to safely operate manual transmission vehicles preferred. Knowledge of DOT regulations, pre-trip inspections, and construction site safety. Strong understanding of load securement and hauling procedures. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional overtime. Must be dependable, punctual, and capable of working in fast-paced environments. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to trucking operations. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Must pass required drug screenings and maintain compliance with FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements.
