Commercial HVAC, Refrigeration & Food Equipment Service Technician

Job Summary Stonewall Commercial Services is looking to add an experienced Service Technician to our growing team. We service commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and food service equipment throughout New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine. We are looking for someone dependable, motivated, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced commercial service environment. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and food equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of HVAC/R systems and food service equipment to ensure optimal performance. Repair appliances and mechanical components efficiently while adhering to safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to accurately identify issues. Lead service calls with professionalism, providing clear communication to clients about repairs needed and maintenance procedures. Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and recommendations for future maintenance or upgrades. Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving construction or system upgrades to ensure seamless execution. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, equipment repair, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems. Proven service technician experience in commercial settings with a focus on refrigeration and food equipment. Ability to read schematics accurately and utilize technical manuals effectively. Knowledge of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and refrigeration technology. Construction experience is a plus for understanding installation processes and system integration. Leadership qualities to guide junior technicians or assist in team coordination during projects. Excellent troubleshooting skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
