Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Richmond, Kentucky, United States (On-site) Comfort Systems USA - Kentucky is seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial HVAC Technician to join our growing team in Richmond, KY. This role is ideal for a licensed journeyman technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and delivering excellent service to commercial customers. What You'll Do Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, boilers, and associated controls Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues and perform repairs efficiently Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and reliability Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Provide professional, courteous, and timely service to customers while on job sites Communicate clearly with customers regarding system conditions, repair options, and recommendations Ensure all work complies with local codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards Complete service reports, work orders, and documentation accurately and timely Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Support project teams and assist with special assignments as needed What We're Looking For Journeyman HVAC license required EPA Universal Certification required High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training preferred Proven experience working on commercial HVAC systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong customer service and communication skills , with the ability to represent the company professionally Basic computer skills for service documentation and communication Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and time management skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Why Join Comfort Systems USA - Kentucky?
