President Status:

Full-Time, Hourly General Position Overview:

Santa Fe Springs, CA mechanical company is looking for an Journeyman to Foreman experience-level Commercial Install Plumber. This role is responsible for a providing a high level of service and expertise within commercial environments across Southern California, including federal and government job sites. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of recent experience in commercial plumbing installations and repair performing a variety of services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinates with the President and customer to precisely understand requirements for all on-site systems by forecasting issues, gathering materials and performance of work.
• Uses a variety of hand tools and power tools, follows blueprints, piping schematics, engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units, troubleshoot and repair sewer and supply lines, install and repair fixtures, performs preventative maintenance, jetting and site surveys.
• Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Makes decisions by analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of recent and relevant commercial and field experience.
• Working knowledge of plumbing principles, codes, design, distribution, and construction.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively alone or within a team environment.

Along with:

• Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent required.
• AA college degree or continued education preferred but not required.
• Valid California Driver's License with a clean record. Able to pass a background check.
• Excellent multitasking skills.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Must have effective communication (written and verbal) and people skills.
• Must be detail oriented and possess good organization skills.
• Must be flexible, self-directed, able to take initiative, and adjust with changing priorities.
