Job Description

Barker Weber is GROWING! We are looking for a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR). The CSR will service new and existing business relationships including processing certificates, endorsements, audits, and renewals. The representative will work as a member of the team focused on providing unsurpassed service to our clients. Essential Functions Assist Producer writing new business by marketing new proposals to agency carriers and prepare initial business proposals. Assist in preparing for upcoming renewals by updating agency management system with vehicle schedules, driver schedules, certificate holders, and additional interests. Provide excellent service to our clients, agents, insurance carriers and internal employees. This includes service over the phone as well as inbound and outbound written email correspondences Assist in preparing for upcoming renewal by updating agency management system with vehicle schedules, driver schedules, certificate holders, and additional interests. Process endorsements, audits, dividends, and invoice these items as needed. Update information in agency management Issue Certificates of Insurance, Evidence of Property forms, Auto ID Cards, change request forms, renewal certificates, and various other insurance forms as requested. Job Qualifications Property and Casualty Insurance License- Strongly Encouraged Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite Previous customer service experience required Strong oral and written communications skills Job requires attention to detail and being thorough in completing work tasks. Ability to work with others in a team setting
