Compensation:
$45,000 - $75,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Support customers' management teams by coaching them on commercial insurance policies as part of a commitment to personal attention for existing and prospective clients Maintain a solid book of business for existing clients, and grow new business base through a range of networking and sales tactics, including cold calling and prospecting for potential customers to effectively articulate the company's competitive advantage and new products Clearly explain all insurance coverage to clients and keep up with all insurance industry changes, including limitations, regulations, and relevant legislation that may impact available insurance services Gather all of the necessary information to evaluate the commercial insurance needs against available insurance products for each client, and negotiate the terms and conditions with key stakeholders Support clients efforts to decrease or eliminate the propensity for insurance claims by presenting them with reliable risk management reports
Qualifications:
A wealth of knowledge or willingness to learn about commercial enterprise procedures that can facilitate accurate policy recommendations Prior experience in the insurance industry as an insurance producer for commercial lines Proficiency with computers is required, including Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel Deep knowledge of available insurance policies and insurance coverage offerings, including their limits and value propositions Excellent research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are required About Company At Farmers Insurance, our employees set the tone, drive our strategy, and create world-class customer experiences.
