Tire Technician Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on tire services. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and customer service are paramount. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and performance of vehicles/ Equipment through effective tire maintenance and repair off and on the road. No previous experience required. On the job training will be provided to help you develop the skills necessary for success in this role. Duties Perform tire installations, rotations, and repairs with precision and care. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various automotive services. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle/ equipment needs. Assist in sales of tires and related services, providing recommendations based on customer requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Engage in heavy lifting as necessary when handling tires and equipment. Skills Must have a valid drivers license, and confidence to operate any vehicle required for the position. Previous experience operating tractors/ Heavy Equipment is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment related to automotive service. Familiarity with tire service procedures, including installation, balancing, and repair techniques. Ability to perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Eagerness to expand knowledge of the tire services industry. Capability to handle heavy lifting tasks safely as part of daily responsibilities.
