Job Description:

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a strong mechanical aptitude then consider a full-time Commercial Press Operator position. We are looking for reliable, motivated, and hardworking team players who will be a member of running and operating our rotogravure printing press to ensure that a high-quality finished product is created. You will work with strict deadlines and keep to safety guidelines in the course of your work. Roles & Responsibilities Ownership of your work from your first day! Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain assigned machines and equipment as needed for maximum product quality and operational efficiency. Adjust machine conditions as needed to ensure proper speed, pressure, temperature and amount of materials for quality production. Measure, weigh and examine all products before they're packaged to see that they meet customer specifications and control machines on a daily basis to maintain daily and weekly production schedule. Complete quality checks and paperwork daily to maintain production schedules and comply with industry regulations and company standards. Ensure environment remains safe, uncluttered, clean and well-maintained by performing maintenance and general janitorial duties throughout the shift. Review all work orders and instructions to see which ingredients, machines, parts and materials are needed to complete orders to full customer satisfaction. Operate essential material handling equipment at the site. Engage in continuing education training and seminars to remain up-to-date on the latest industry techniques, machines, safety regulations and equipment. Must wear appropriate safety glasses, hearing protection, clothing, and footwear in appropriate areas and follow safety protocol Embrace a culture of teamwork, innovation, agility, and results. i2M operates 7-days per week 24 hours a day. We rely on local talent and promote from within. Technicians may work any day of the week, including weekends. Shifts are 12 hours per day. Technicians have the ability to work overtime. Changes in business volume and production requirements can cause the plant to change work schedule.

Qualifications:

In-depth understanding of basic printing technologies. Mechanically minded. Strong concentration, attention to detail, analytical and interpersonal skills Understand math and computer skills Flexibility and ability to adapt with demanding timelines and changes in priorities Stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time Be able to lift 50 lbs., climb, move around on stairs, ladders and platforms; twist, turn and bend. Excellent time-management skills Team player with the proven ability to lead a team.
