Job Description

Gator Ford is a leading automotive dealership with a strong reputation for delivering quality vehicles and outstanding customer service. We are expanding our Commercial Sales Division and are seeking a motivated, business-minded professional to join our team as a New Vehicle Auto Commercial Sales Professional . This position is ideal for a driven individual who thrives in building business relationships, understands commercial vehicle needs, can sell on the retail front, and is passionate about helping companies grow their fleets.
Position Overview:
The New Vehicle Auto Commercial Sales Professional will focus on developing relationships with small businesses, contractors, fleet managers, and commercial clients to provide tailored vehicle solutions. This role combines business development, consultative sales, and exceptional customer service to drive growth in the dealership's commercial vehicle division. We have over 5,000 fleet customers to work with and the income potential is unlimited.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and commercial clients. Identify client needs and present vehicle solutions that support their operations. Prospect new business through networking, client list calling, and community engagement. Manage the sales process from initial contact to delivery, ensuring client satisfaction. Work with the dealership's finance and service departments to create complete solutions for customers. Stay informed on manufacturer incentives, fleet programs, and industry trends. Achieve monthly and annual sales goals for commercial vehicles. Provide follow-up and ongoing support to ensure long-term client retention. Follow the Dealership sales process for Business customer transactions
Qualifications:
Proven sales experience (automotive sales or B2B sales experience preferred). Ford experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Strong understanding of commercial/fleet vehicles and business client needs. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own pipeline. Strong networking and relationship-building skills. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
