Overview We're looking for a skilled Commercial Service Technician to join our team and keep our clients' water systems running smoothly. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of commercial water treatment equipment. Position Overview Culligan is currently seeking individuals experienced in customer-focused positions to act as a Commercial Service Technician. Must have a mechanical aptitude and must be willing to learn on an ongoing basis. Must be dependable, organized, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities Safe operation of a Company vehicle in compliance with all state and federal DOT laws Abide by all company policies as contained in the company employee handbook while following safety procedures Perform complete diagnostics on commercial water treatment equipment, identify malfunctions, and resolve issues accordingly Provide scheduled maintenance on water treatment equipment Identify additional services that may be required and present all options to the consumer Represent Culligan through direct interaction with customers. Communicate the status of equipment with customers and provide solutions Complete basic installation and removal of water treatment equipment Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering Install pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves for water treatment equipment using hand or power tools Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipe to the required angle using hand or power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, or pipe-bending machines Review blueprints, building codes, or specifications to determine work details or procedures Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Appropriate, valid driver's license Qualified candidates must have the ability to lift up to 80 pounds Drive for extended periods (2-3 hours) Knowledge of the surrounding area where you would be working Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written) Kneel/bend for extended periods of time About Culligan As the world's leading water experts, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality water solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately. Familiarity with HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, air conditioning units, and ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable. Experience with field service operations and appliance repair is preferred. Knowledge of welding techniques and boiler systems is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driver experience is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments.
