Commercial Solar Technician

Greenpath Technologies is expanding its commercial solar operations in Hawaii and is a Commercial Solar Technician to join our growing team. Location & Role Details Full-Time Position Available Core Responsibilities Maintain and troubleshoot commercial solar PV systems Work with inverters, transformers, monitoring systems, and battery storage systems Perform solar panel cleaning using robotic cleaning systems and manual methods as required Read and interpret plans, schematics, and electrical diagrams Perform system testing and commissioning Ensure all work meets safety standards and electrical codes Work independently or as part of a team depending on project needs Collaborate with project managers and electricians to deliver high-quality installations Ideal Background & Skills 2+ years of hands-on commercial solar experience Experience or familiarity with battery/energy storage systems Strong understanding of PV and electrical systems Capable of working independently as well as with a team Reliable and detail-oriented Experience with Microsoft Teams or similar communication tools Experience with MaintainX or similar CMMS platforms (preferred) Experience with CompanyCam or similar photo documentation tools Hawaii Electrical License or willingness to pursue Ability to work safely on rooftops and active job sites Comfortable working in outdoor conditions Must be able to obtain access to military bases (background check required) Must have own tools (company provides specialty tools) Must be available for occasional off-island travel, including occasional overnight stays NABCEP certification is a plus (not required) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Perks & Compensation Package Enjoy paid holidays and paid time off (PTO), promoting work-life balance.
