Commissary Assistant

Join the Tandem Team! Tandem is hiring a part-time Commissary Assistant at our Hadley location with starting pay is $19 per hour. The shifts are 6am to 12pm and Tuesday/Thursday availability is a must. This position is responsible for a variety of tasks that keep the commissary, bakery and kitchen production facility running efficiently. The Commissary Assistant requires ability to properly lift 50 pounds, organizational skills, time management skills, willingness to learn new tasks, and initiative.

Responsibilities include:

Ensure timely arrival and consistent attendance to shifts beginning at 6 AM Receiving large orders twice a week; check in and rotate inventory using proper protocol Maintaining and organizing inventory in a large commissary Smaller side tasks such as Help with daily and periodic equipment and bakery space cleaning to keep us in compliance with wholesale production standards Delivering catering orders Helping the food production and bakery departments with basic tasks Helping the front of house with basic tasks Taking initiative to create new tasks as the position evolves End of shift cleaning tasks that meet our facility standards daily Benefits include:
