Houseman 237 Russell Street, Hadley, MA 01035 $15.75 - $16.25 an hour - Full-time $15.75 - $16.25 an hour - Full-time To maintain a clean and appealing hotel the outside perimeter and common areas inside according to policy standards. On this team a reliable member works every day as scheduled, shows up for work on time, consistently meets deadlines and pitches in wherever and whenever needed. This position will require you to work 5 days a week.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Clean the perimeter of the building and parking lot, Pick up trash and empty outside trash barrels. Clean cigarette ash receptacles as needed. Check trash cans in all public areas.

Service Areas:

guest laundry, elevator, guest bathrooms.

Pool:

Straighten up pool furniture daily. Clean furniture as needed. Help housekeepers take out trash and laundry. Deliver items to guests on request: linens, remove trash, etc.

Landscaping work as needed:

leaf removal, shoveling and spreading ice melt. Assist with preventative maintenance. Wear proper uniform. Must be detail oriented Adhere to established cleaning procedures and guidelines to uphold superior levels of cleanliness throughout the hotel. Assist guests with any additional needs or questions they may have during their stay. Follow safety protocols diligently and handle cleaning chemicals with care to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Report any damages or maintenance requirements promptly to management for timely resolution. Notify management of any lost and found items discovered during cleaning duties. Should have basic/entry level working knowledge and hands on experience of the following: Guest rooms repairs as needed, plumbing, basic electrical and painting General Housekeeping Basic pool maintenance Respond in a courteous manner to all guest questions, complaints, and/or requests to ensure strong guest satisfaction. Perform any other job related duties as assigned Prior experience in hospitality, floor care, hotel services, housekeeping management, custodial work, or industrial cleaning is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Physical capability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.

Pay:

$15.75 - $16.25 per hour
