Position Description:
Member of business unit senior leadership team. Lead Community and Citizenship strategy and program, and supervise Community and Citizenship professionals in business unit.
Reports to:
Community & Citizenship Senior Director or Senior VP Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Engage as visible and influential leader, promoting Community & Citizenship brand awareness, partnerships and community presence in business unit. Drive positive culture through development and oversight of comprehensive Community and Citizenship program that consistently aligns with business unit goals. Partner with Procurement Department to execute business unit Underutilized Business Enterprises program to facilitate opportunities for minority and women tradespersons and/or local residents on projects. Set strategy for educational programs that seek to build pipeline to construction industry. Relay potential impact of economic social issues and trends, and recommend approach to proactively support business unit program objectives. Leverage partnerships with local civic and philanthropic organizations and build relationships with regional and national organizations at local level. Active service on industry or community related local board of directors. Key participant in local business unit sales pursuits and relationship building to identify opportunities for obtaining new business. Contribute to national programs as designated by SVP, Diversity, Inclusion and Community & Citizenship. Prepare timely performance reviews for local staff, deliver honest and constructive feedback, and align individual employee goals to Community and Citizenship and company objectives. Provide support and guidance to local business unit Employee Resource Groups. Conduct regular internal audits to measure program effectiveness and make recommendations for program improvement. Provide input to build bench strength and support staffing needs of local team. Develop and manage business unit Community & Citizenship department budget. Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned. #LI-MF1
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from accredited and credentialed degree programs and at least 10 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Active community network of professionals and knowledge of industry and local market Project management of concurrent projects Understands OFCCP and related City, State, and Federal regulations Management experience Negotiation skills with ability influence and engage others Professional presentation skills Passion for community based programs with current or past volunteerism or community experience Applies business maturity to synthesize complex concepts and information Computer, MS Office, and SAP skills Applies critical business thinking to business planning, operations and financial performance Champion of continuous improvement Lead by example and set standards for performance and behavior and skilled at developing high performance teams
