Compassionate Caregiver (DSP)

• Job Summary:

• We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with diverse needs, including those with autism, in a home care setting.

• Duties:

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
• Administer medications following prescribed protocols
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals
• Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
• Implement behavioral support plans for individuals with autism
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Qualifications:

• Experience in assisted living or home care settings preferred
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and medication administration
• Familiarity with working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder
• Understanding of healthcare systems and protocols
