We are seeking a Complex Liability Claims Manager (Property Damage + Bodily Injury) to lead a team handling auto and/or general liability claims across both Property Damage (PD) and Bodily Injury (BI) exposures. This role is responsible for driving claim outcomes, managing litigation, and elevating team performance across a mixed-severity portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep technical expertise in both PD and BI claims, including represented and litigated files. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of liability adjusters handling: Property Damage (coverage, estimates, subrogation) Bodily Injury (non-represented through litigated claims) Oversee end-to-end claim lifecycle Provide direction on: Coverage analysis, Liability determination, Reserve setting, Settlement strategy Manage litigated claims and outside counsel relationships Drive file quality, cycle time, and indemnity/expense control Coach team on: Negotiation strategies, Litigation management, Complex claim handling Ensure compliance with jurisdictional regulations and internal standards Partner with clients/stakeholders (if TPA environment) Skills, knowledge & expertise 7-10+ years of liability claims experience Direct experience handling BOTH PD and BI claims Strong experience with: Represented and litigated BI claims, Attorney negotiation and settlement strategy, Coverage analysis and liability investigation 3-5+ years of leadership experience (Supervisor/Manager) Experience managing multi-state claims TPA or third-party claims environment experience Commercial Auto and/or General Liability exposure Experience leading mixed PD + BI teams Claims system proficiency (Guidewire, etc.) Equal Employment Opportunity & Legal Notices Benefits At Davies North America, we are dedicated to supporting the well‑being and future of our qualifying employees.
