Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to diagnostic excellence as an experienced professional skilled in CT imaging. This contract position involves operating and maintaining CT equipment, performing high-quality scans, and collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team. Your expertise will enhance the patient experience and support accurate clinical results in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Schedule/Hours:
Flexible schedule, including potential evening, overnight, and weekend shifts based on departmental needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid ARRT (CT) certification or equivalent credentialing required. Current state licensure for CT technology. Previous experience operating computed tomography (CT) scanners. In-depth knowledge of anatomy, imaging techniques, and safety protocols. Proficient in patient positioning and scan acquisition for various clinical indications. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. BLS certification (current).
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct CT scans according to physician orders, ensuring clarity and diagnostic accuracy. Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, and address concerns to ensure comfort and understanding. Monitor patient conditions during imaging and promptly respond to needs or complications. Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, confirming compliance with safety and quality standards. Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality. Document procedures and complete image management tasks accurately. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other clinicians to deliver comprehensive care.
