Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal position specializing in Computed Tomography, where your expertise in imaging helps deliver vital diagnostic information and outstanding patient care. As a CT Technologist, you will conduct advanced CT procedures under general supervision and may perform general diagnostic radiology exams as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
ARRT (R) certification; additional CT certification preferred Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program Comprehensive knowledge of CT equipment, imaging protocols, and radiation safety principles Experience with IV contrast administration and power injectors Exceptional communication and patient care skills Proficient in PACS and RIS systems Ability to support a collaborative, innovative work environment
Schedule/Hours:
Contract basis; specific schedule to be provided during the interview process
Key Responsibilities:
Explain examination procedures and prepare patients for CT imaging Review requisition data and perform appropriate CT examinations, gathering additional clinical information as needed Prepare procedure rooms and maintain necessary supplies and sterility Set up imaging equipment, analyze anatomical structures, and perform scans to obtain optimal diagnostic outcomes Administer intravenous contrast media safely and monitor patients for any potential reactions, providing immediate care if necessary Assist radiologists with complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies, ensuring all equipment and supplies are prepared and available Uphold radiation safety and ALARA principles at all times Resolve PACS image exceptions, ensure high-quality imaging, and manage study indexing in RIS from start to completion Confirm clinical protocols with radiologists, maintain thorough documentation in electronic medical records and support all required clinical and administrative processes Exemplify high standards of teamwork, communication, and respect for diversity in all interactions If you are a dedicated imaging professional seeking a rewarding contract role, submit your application today to make a meaningful impact in patient diagnostics and care.
