Concrete Finisher/Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and related construction tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship on various projects. However, no prior experience is required. This role involves working closely with other construction professionals to create durable and quality finished concrete surfaces. Responsibilities Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired textures and finishes. Set forms for concrete placement, ensuring proper alignment and elevation. Pour, spread, and level concrete according to specifications. Apply curing compounds to finished surfaces to ensure proper hydration. Collaborate with other team members on construction site tasks. Operate a skid steer or company vehicle safely as needed for specific project requirements. Perform maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Skills Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools, concrete forming, concrete finishing, concrete saw cutting, etc. Experience with heavy equipment operation is preferred. Strong knowledge of hand tools used in concrete finishing and general construction tasks. Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications accurately. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as required on the job site. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and supervisors.
