  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Concrete Foreman to lead and oversee concrete construction projects from start to finish.
In this role, you will coordinate daily operations on the construction site, supervise crews, ensure safety compliance, and maintain high-quality standards. Your leadership will be vital in delivering projects on time, within scope, and according to specifications. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong background in concrete work and construction management. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all concrete-related activities on the construction site, including pouring, finishing, and curing processes. Lead and manage a team of workers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely while maintaining high standards of quality. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of concrete work. Monitor project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or ProCore to keep projects on track. Enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to plan daily activities and resolve issues promptly. Maintain accurate documentation related to project progress, quality control measures, and equipment usage such as ohmmeters for electrical testing. Oversee budgeting aspects related to concrete materials, labor costs, and equipment rentals; assist with construction estimating when needed. Ensure adherence to contracts and specifications; perform quality control checks throughout the project lifecycle. Utilize tools like Bluebeam for digital markup of plans and manage construction site logistics efficiently. Qualifications Proven experience supervising concrete or heavy civil construction projects with a focus on management and team supervision. Strong knowledge of construction management software including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Primavera. Familiarity with construction site safety standards governed by OSHA; ability to enforce safety protocols effectively. Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes. Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, budgeting, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Hands-on experience with construction tools such as ohmmeters; understanding of electrical testing procedures is a plus. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Construction site experience in concrete work or related heavy civil projects is essential; supervising experience is highly preferred.
