Evaluation to Hire Reports to: Superintendent or Project Manager Position Overview Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a construction company seeking a Bilingual Concrete Foreman (English/Spanish) to lead field operations and oversee concrete projects. This role is responsible for directing crews, managing daily jobsite activities, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring strong leadership and hands-on expertise in concrete construction. Key Responsibilities Field Leadership & Crew Management Lead, guide, counsel, and direct all employees under supervision Train, mentor, and support crew members in all aspects of concrete installation Ensure employees understand job duties and safety expectations Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback Promote a positive team environment and uphold professional standards Project Planning & Execution Plan, organize, and coordinate all aspects of assigned concrete projects Review labor and material needs with the Superintendent Collaborate with the Project Manager on material purchasing Provide regular updates on schedules, progress, and project status Ensure projects are completed according to schedule and within budget Safety & Compliance Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety standards at all times Conduct safety training, documentation, and enforcement of safety policies Lead accident investigations and address safety violations Ensure all job sites, equipment, and practices meet required safety standards Quality Control & Continuous Improvement Ensure all installations meet quality standards and specifications Promote continuous improvement with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction Assist management in developing and improving policies and procedures Identify opportunities for operational improvements and efficiencies Operations & Administrative Oversight Track and report employee hours and time off accurately and timely Maintain inventory control systems and equipment and vehicle maintenance logs Complete required paperwork including daily reports, safety documentation, and evaluations Attend required meetings and ensure timely submission of all documentation Customer Relations & Business Support Maintain a positive company image with customers, employees, and the public Address and resolve customer complaints effectively Communicate potential new business opportunities or market insights to leadership Maintain confidentiality of employee, customer, and company information Qualifications Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete construction, including leadership or Foreman-level responsibilities Skills & Knowledge Bilingual in English and Spanish required Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods Capability to lift up to 100 pounds and navigate uneven terrain Ability to operate vibrating and heavy equipment Strong sensory abilities including seeing, hearing, and communicating effectively Work Environment Primarily outdoor work in all weather conditions Exposure to active construction environments including moving equipment and vehicles Occasional administrative or office-related tasks Performance Expectations Complete projects safely, on time, and within budget Maintain high standards of quality and compliance Effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines Demonstrate sound judgment and problem-solving skills Ensure proper care and control of materials, tools, and equipment For Immediate Consideration Apply online: or Call our office About Express Employment Professionals - Reno Express Employment Professionals in Reno connects skilled professionals with strong employers throughout Northern Nevada.
