Concrete Pump Operator

We currently have immediate openings for qualified candidates. Position Overview The Concrete Pump Operator is a skilled equipment operator responsible for safely and efficiently operating concrete pump trucks on construction job sites. This role involves controlling concrete placement through the pump and boom, transporting the equipment to and from job sites, and ensuring the pump is properly prepared for each project. Successful candidates demonstrate strong technical knowledge of concrete pumping operations, sound judgment in truck positioning and concrete placement, and the ability to communicate effectively with contractors and crew members. Pre-trip and post-trip inspections, along with a strong commitment to safety, are essential components of this position. Key Responsibilities Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations, including brakes, fluid levels, and safety systems. Fill water tanks prior to each project and ensure all valves are properly secured and shut. Safely set up, operate, and clean concrete pump systems at job sites. Drive concrete pump trucks to and from job sites in a safe, punctual, and responsible manner. Evaluate site conditions and coordinate with contractors or supervisors to properly position and set up equipment. Operate pump booms to place concrete accurately according to provided instructions. Load, unload, and handle pump attachments and tools safely. Clean and maintain concrete pumps daily to ensure reliable operation and minimize downtime. Ensure all safety protocols and precautionary measures are followed before, during, and after each project. Assist with additional tasks as needed to support company operations, including operating other equipment during slower periods. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class A or Class B Prior experience of operating standard and complex concrete pumps preferred. Strong understanding of construction site operations. Ability to climb on and around equipment and perform physical tasks in all weather conditions. Good balance, coordination, and manual dexterity.
