Job Overview :

This position is a hybrid of landscaping, facilities maintenance, and light renovations. You must be comfortable working alone and figuring out complications as they come up. In this position you are responsible for maintaining and repairing two industrial business locations including two customer areas, and four bathrooms. You will also be responsible for maintaining multiple rental properties as repairs are needed. This position requires someone who is highly adaptable and capable of maintaining not only the facilities and rental properties but also maintaining equipment and tools.

Key Responsibilities Site Inspections:

Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure a premium environment; proactively identify and report maintenance needs (e.g., fencing issues, debris removal, or safety hazards).

Mechanical & Technical Repairs:

Maintain and repair specialized parking equipment, including entry/exit gate arms.

General Handyman Services:

Execute interior repairs including drywall patching, hardware installation (locks/handles), and basic plumbing (fixture replacement).

Grounds & Landscaping:

Manage seasonal and permanent landscaping projects, ensuring the lots have great "curb appeal" year-round.

Fencing & Security:

Perform regular maintenance and installations of perimeter fencing to keep the site secure.

Reporting:

Maintain clear lines of communication with management regarding project status and supply needs.

Cleaning :

While not a huge focus of the job you must be willing to do cleaning tasks. This may be areas where customers visit, such as the lobby or the bathrooms, or outdoor areas that need pressuring washing.

Light renovations:

This can include installing cabinets, trim, flooring, windows, drywall, lighting and plumbing fixtures. This might also include building decks or patios, among other things depending on your skillset.

Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Versatility:

Troubleshooting skills across electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Tool Proficiency:

Expert-level comfort with hand tools, power tools, and standard landscaping equipment.

Construction and landscaping experience:

This is the most important qualification, as we do not offer any training for this position. Pay is dependant on your experience.

Self-Starter Mentality:

Ability to work independently and manage a "to-do" list across multiple locations without constant supervision.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to be on your feet, walk the lots daily, and perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

Pay:

$22.00 - $38.00 per hour
