Job Description

Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team in either St. Louis or Cincinnati. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to engage in diverse aspects of construction law, focusing on dispute resolution and contract management. Our clientele includes a wide range of professionals such as contractors, design-builders, subcontractors, owners, architects, and engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage in mediation, litigation, and arbitration to resolve construction disputes. Prepare, review, and negotiate construction contracts. Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings and motions. Prepare and respond to discovery requests effectively. Assist in preparing cases for trial or arbitration.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year of litigation experience, with a preference for those with a background in construction law. Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents. Demonstrated experience in case preparation for trial or arbitration. Familiarity with construction contracts is highly desirable. Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients, providing clarity on legal and practical issues in construction disputes. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must hold a valid law license in Missouri or Ohio.
