Construction Builder

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Construction Builder to join our team and bring construction projects to life with precision and expertise. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of building tasks, from framing and carpentry to finishing and installation work. Your hands-on approach, combined with your knowledge of construction techniques and safety standards, will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction tasks. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and effectively on-site. Perform carpentry tasks including framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinetry installation, and drywall finishing. Conduct concrete forming, finishing, masonry work, stucco application, and masonry repairs as needed. Install roofing systems, glass panels, flooring, tiles, and perform plastering or caulking to ensure durable finishes. Manage construction inspection processes to verify quality control standards are met throughout each phase of the project. Collaborate with project managers on construction estimating, scheduling, and site management activities. Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting regular site inspections and adhering to OSHA standards. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes when required for material handling or structural work. Assist in restoration or remodeling projects by applying specialized skills like welding or concrete finishing. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a solid understanding of construction management principles. Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques. Hands-on experience with a variety of trades including plumbing, electrical work, roofing, masonry, and drywall installation. Familiarity with Bluebeam software for digital plan review and project documentation is preferred. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment safely and efficiently on active sites. Strong knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA regulations related to construction environments. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of construction work. Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials or working at heights for extended periods.
