Construction Crew Member

Job Summary We are looking for a reliable, hard-working General Construction Laborer to join our team for residential remodeling and light commercial projects. This is an entry-to-mid-level position perfect for someone looking to grow their skills in construction, carpentry, and renovation. You will support lead carpenters and project managers by preparing sites, handling materials, and performing various tasks to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Site Preparation:

Clean and prepare job sites, including removing debris, hazardous materials, and waste.

Demolition & Setup:

Assist with interior demolition (tearing out drywall, flooring, cabinets) and set up temporary structures/barricades.

Material Handling:

Load, unload, transport, and stack building materials (lumber, drywall, tile) at job sites.

Tool Handling:

Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment (drills, saws, grinders, nail guns) under supervision.

Support Trade Staff:

Assist carpenters, plumbers, and electricians with tasks such as framing, insulation installation, and drywall finishing.

Site Maintenance:

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site daily to ensure a high-quality client experience.

Customer Respect:

Work professionally in occupied homes and active commercial spaces, taking care to protect client property.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

1+ years of experience in general construction or remodeling preferred (willing to train the right motivated candidate).

Physical Stamina:

Ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting up to 50-75 lbs, bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods.

Tools:

Must have own basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, utility knife, tool belt).

Reliability:

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites is required.
