Responsibilities Assist with the installation of rebar, formwork, and concrete finishing to ensure structural integrity and quality standards are met Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various construction tasks including framing, roofing, and drywall installation Support heavy equipment operation such as concrete pumps or forklifts under supervision to facilitate material movement and placement Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to aid in precise execution of tasks Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding work required for site setup, material handling, and demolition activities Prepare job sites by cleaning debris, setting up scaffolding or ladders, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Contribute to renovation, restoration, or new construction projects by performing masonry, stucco application, tile laying, or flooring installation as needed Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely Experience reading blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings for accurate task execution Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material requirements Skilled in concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and pumping techniques for durable results Proficient in carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, framing (metal stud framing), and drywall installation Familiarity with masonry work such as bricklaying or stonework; experience with welding is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining safety standards; physical stamina is essential Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or experience with commercial driving is advantageous for site logistics management Understanding of safety procedures related to roofing, caulking, plastering, and working at heights Experience operating heavy machinery like forklifts or cranes; knowledge of schematics for equipment troubleshooting is beneficial This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise across multiple facets of construction.
