Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming visions into reality! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial builds to renovation and restoration jobs. As a Construction Laborer, you'll bring your enthusiasm, physical strength, and technical skills to support skilled tradespeople in creating safe, durable, and high-quality structures. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their construction expertise while contributing to impactful projects in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist with the installation of rebar, formwork, and concrete placement to ensure structural integrity and precision. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently across various construction sites. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate execution of tasks such as framing, roofing, or masonry. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks including moving materials, debris removal, and site cleanup. Support finishing work such as concrete finishing, tile laying, flooring installation, plastering, stucco application, and caulking. Set up scaffolding, ladders, and safety barriers while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist with metal stud framing, drywall installation, masonry work, welding tasks, and other specialty trades as needed. Operate concrete mixers and concrete pumping equipment for efficient material placement. Follow schematics and blueprints accurately to ensure project specifications are met. Contribute to renovation projects by supporting carpentry tasks like trim carpentry or restoration work. Qualifications Prior construction site experience or hands-on experience with building trades is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to tools, equipment operation, and construction processes is a plus. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions clearly. Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged physical activity throughout the workday. Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy machinery such as forklifts or cranes is advantageous. Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA regulations related to construction sites. Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience or certifications are beneficial but not mandatory. Willingness to learn new skills in areas like masonry, roofing, metal framing or concrete finishing. $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
