Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, and other bulk loads to various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and load handling will ensure timely deliveries and adherence to safety standards. Duties Safely operate dump trucks with manual transmission, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload materials efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks Drive route-specific trucks including flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailer, or freight trucks as needed for different deliveries Maintain accurate logs of daily trips, loads, and mileage for reporting purposes Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to identify potential issues and ensure vehicle safety Follow designated routes driving through construction sites or urban areas while managing delivery schedules effectively Assist with loading materials onto trucks and securing loads properly for safe transport Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving, specifically with dump trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles in a professional setting Delivery driver experience involving route driving across diverse terrains and environments Knowledge of freight handling including load & unload procedures for various cargo types such as bulk materials or freight shipments Ability to operate auxiliary equipment like forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with relevant endorsements (e.g., tanker, flatbed) preferred Strong understanding of safety protocols related to truck driving, material handling, and vehicle maintenance Join our team if you're ready to take on a vital role that combines skillful driving with hands-on material handling. Pay:
$27.39 - $32.99 per hour
