Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Laborer and be an essential part of building durable, high-quality structures. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial developments to renovation and restoration sites. As a Concrete Laborer, you will play a vital role in preparing, pouring, finishing, and maintaining concrete surfaces, ensuring safety and precision at every step. We value hardworking individuals eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment and contribute to impactful construction projects. Strong communication skills is a must. Responsibilities Assist with the setup and dismantling of concrete forms, rebar installation, and framing to prepare for concrete pouring. Operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to facilitate smooth workflow. Mix and pour concrete according to project specifications, ensuring proper consistency and placement. Perform finishing tasks such as smoothing, troweling, and sealing concrete surfaces for a polished look. Use hand tools like trowels, hammers, chisels, caulking guns, and other equipment necessary for detailed work. Support masonry, tile laying, stucco application, metal stud framing, and other related tasks as needed on-site. Skills Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience operating power tools and heavy equipment. Expertise in rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and concrete pumping operations. Knowledge of various construction disciplines including carpentry (trim carpentry), roofing, plastering, restoration work, and masonry. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during renovation or new construction projects.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
