Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as a Tire and Lube Technician, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining vehicle safety, performance, and customer satisfaction. This energetic position offers the opportunity to develop your skills in automotive repair and diagnostics while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As a Tire and Lube Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service that keeps our customers' vehicles running smoothly and reliably. Whether you're experienced or eager to learn, this role provides a platform to grow your career in automotive service. Saturday work is required on a rotating basis. Responsibilities Perform tire services including mounting, balancing, rotation, repair, and replacement with precision and care Conduct routine oil changes and fluid top-offs using proper procedures and tools Assist with wheel alignments to ensure optimal vehicle handling and tire longevity Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform maintenance tasks efficiently Diagnose basic automotive issues using diagnostic equipment and mechanical knowledge Conduct vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs and communicate findings clearly to customers Support overall vehicle maintenance tasks such as brake checks, suspension work, and other minor repairs Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use Qualifications Dealership experience or previous automotive repair background preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity of automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance procedures Experience with tire service, oil changes, alignments, and basic repairs is highly desirable Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients Service technician experience or automotive mechanic background is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for those eager to learn Knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance practices, and safety protocols is beneficial Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a difference!
