  • Training & Competitive Pay Division 7 is seeking an Construction Operations Support/Coordinator to join our team!
The ideal candidate should have 2-years of experience in procurement and processing documentation and ensure operational procedures are followed. D7 is a progressive and successful family-owned business. We specialize in the fabrication and installation of architectural sheet metal, siding, metal cladding and roofing for commercial projects. Must have references and proven past work history record. This position typically works M-F 8am to 5pm 8-hour shift with occasional overtime
Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to Project Managers.
  • Assist with coordinating daily operations and workflow between office staff and field personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and operational documentation.
  • Assist with Procurement including awareness of long lead times, material and owner supplied equipment. Create and maintain purchase orders.
  • Request quotes from vendors and suppliers.
  • Track and update project documentation, work orders, and reports.
  • Assist with scheduling, deliveries, equipment, and service appointments.
  • Monitor shop inventory and operational supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and internal communications.
  • Support compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting notes when required.
  • Help resolve operational issues by communicating with vendors and internal teams.
  • Maintain project quality control.
  • Perform other operational duties as assigned by Project Managers.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to travel to job sites or vendors as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 2 years of administrative or operations support experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Deadline and detail oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
  • Strong analysis and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong professionalism with customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional requirements:
Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, heavy lifting and occasionally carrying 50lbs. Job requires working inside and outside in environments that present occasional exposure to extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, as well as at heights in excess of 10 feet. $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
