Construction Project Accountant

Key Responsibilities & Role Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years of construction accounting experience, preferably with a general contractor. Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP schedules, and percent-complete accounting. Proficiency with construction accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks and Procore). Ability to manage A/P, A/R, billing, lien releases, and subcontractor compliance. Experience preparing owner billings. Ability to reconcile project budgets, monitor cost controls, and support project managers with financial reporting. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all financial documentation and all written communication. Ability to work in a fast-paced, boutique environment with shifting priorities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across project and office teams. Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data organization). Strong understanding of contract terms, change orders, and commitments. Ability to maintain organized digital and physical project accounting files. Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to work with high-profile clientele. Self-motivated with strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Pay:

$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
