Job Description
Summary The Project Engineer reports to the Project Manager and has responsibilities related to administrative, document control, and subcontractor management/coordination. Duties and Responsibilities PE's help in planning work schedule, determining manpower levels, and arranging for assignment of project personnel. Process day-to-day administrative and project control items in accordance with Complete Contracting's best practices per supervisor's authorization. Assist Project Manager in obtaining project permits. Assists in preparation of monthly project draws. Assists Project Manager in preparation of subcontracts, and procurement. Follows up for receipt, review, and distribution of information required for project completion. Manage RFI's, submittal, and drawings in Procore. Prepares change orders in Procore for review and approval by Project Manager. Assist with project close outs. Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction. Qualifications Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience. Previous Project Engineer experience preferred. Good written and oral communication skills. Expresses self clearly and effectively when talking with individuals and groups. Expresses ideas clearly in writing. Uses proper organization and grammar. Working knowledge of Word and Excel Experience with Procore a plus. Works well with others. Takes time to help co-workers, customers and others achieve their goals and assignments. Has the ability and desire to quickly learn new job-related information. Maintains normal standards of ethics, conduct, and organizational policies in job-related activities. Solves practical problems and deals with a variety of variables in situations where limited standardization exists; interprets a variety of complex instructions.
