NAES is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to support a large-scale mechanical construction project in Los Angeles, CA. This role will serve as the primary interface for contractors and subcontractors supporting underground chilled water piping installation activities. The Construction Project Manager will oversee contractor execution, monitor schedule performance, manage project scope and field changes, and help drive successful project delivery while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and project requirements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Oversee day-to-day field execution of underground chilled water piping installation (~500 ft scope) Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and field crews to ensure quality and schedule adherence Coordinate and support rigging and lift activities associated with underground piping installation work Identify, document, negotiate, and manage field-driven change orders and scope modifications Track project progress, identify risks or delays, and proactively support issue resolution to maintain project objectives Support project coordination related to HS&E compliance, field logistics, inspections, and construction planningJob Requirements :
Strong understanding of mechanical construction execution, contractor management, and field coordination practices Ability to manage active construction projects with focus on safety, scope, budget, and schedule performance Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders in fast-paced construction environments Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules Education /Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent required Technical training or certifications in construction, rigging, or related field preferred Experience supporting commercial, institutional, or large-scale construction projects requiredCompensation:
