In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs that ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Your expertise will foster a culture of safety, minimize risks, and protect our workforce on-site. Duties Develop and execute robust safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, NEC (National Electrical Code), and other applicable regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards related to construction management, occupational health, and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) protocols. Lead risk management efforts by assessing potential hazards, implementing mitigation strategies, and ensuring adherence to compliance management practices across all construction phases. Coordinate safety training sessions for construction teams, emphasizing OSHA requirements, workers' compensation procedures, and emergency response protocols. Monitor construction site activities using construction management software to track safety metrics, incident reports, and corrective actions. Investigate accidents or incidents thoroughly, documenting findings and recommending preventive measures to avoid recurrence. Collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure ongoing compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site safety management with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations, NEC standards, and workers' compensation procedures. Demonstrated expertise in risk management, occupational health practices, and compliance management within the construction industry. Familiarity with EHS principles and the use of construction management software for safety tracking and reporting. Extensive hands-on experience working on construction sites with a solid knowledge of construction management processes. Strong communication skills to effectively train teams, conduct safety meetings, and liaise with regulatory agencies. Certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour or 40-Hour Construction Safety Certification are highly preferred.
