Construction Shop Mechanic

HIS Constructors, Inc is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of mechanical experience working with diesel, hydraulics, electrical, engine component repairs on diesel trucks and construction equipment. Pay negotiable based on experience. Duties Dismantles and reassembles/rebuilds equipment. Fabricates parts and equipment as required to meet shop and customer needs. Small tool and equipment repair Vehicle oil changes and service Diagnoses complex mechanical and electrical equipment problems Performs check-ins and safety inspections and assists other equipment mechanics with general shop and equipment maintenance as needed Conducts preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and down time in the field or other remote settings. Maintain safe work environment and perform duties in accordance with safety standards. Willing to go to the field for repair/maintenance when required

Qualifications:

High school diploma with technical school or training with 2 years of experience Extensive experience in lieu of technical school will be considered.
