Job Description

job summary: Construction Superintendent opportunity located in Fort Bragg, NC, to oversee a high-priority microgrid project. This long-term contract role requires someone capable of managing civil infrastructure while supporting QC functions. Experience with electrical duct bank installation, underground electrical distribution, transformer placement, and switchgear installation is helpful. Civil construction field supervision experience is needed to ensure compliance with USACE standards.

Subcontractor Coordination:
Manage field operations and subcontractor productivity to ensure civil scopes, such as trenching and concrete encasement, meet project schedules.
Field Oversight:
Direct day-to-day construction of civial and electrical distribution infrastructure, including duct banks, medium voltage distribution, and switchgear installation.
Compliance & Quality:
Ensure all work adheres to USACE specifications, federal standards, and contract requirements, serving as a technical specialist for civil and electrical features.
Safety & Documentation:
Support Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA) and construction documentation while enforcing
EM 385-1-1
(2024 edition) safety requirements on-site.
Stakeholder Liaison:
Participate in site meetings with government representatives and collaborate closely with the project management team to align field execution with mission goals.
