Directore (ID) Director, the incumbent is responsible for oversight and implemention of Garrison Family, Morale, Welfare, and Recreion Programs. Provides program support through direct interface with theRD, IMCOM
Directore Installion Support (RIST) Teams, IMCOM G-9, and other ID officials. Serves as the functional subject mter expert, representive, and advisor to leadership within the organizion. Conducts review and analysis of assigned Garrison performance in relion to meeting goals, objectives, tasks, standards, and targets of the IMCOM functional program. Monitors issues and corrective actions, develops effective approaches for program improvement, and recommends solutions to resolve deficiencies. Ensures proper resources are energized to optimize program performance within assigned areas. Coordines and synchronizes the accomplishment of major Garrison projects and requirements; promotes policies, plans, products, and analyses which directly shape and improve IMCOM, Region, and Garrison operions. Advises the ID Director andIMCOM G-9
staff on the need for policy guidance, direction, or emphasis of programs for effective and efficient FMWR installion management support to Garrison Commanders and senior leaders. Addresses topics including prioritizion of G-9 requirements, allocion of resources, mobilizion and deployment, Army Facility Stregy, and HODA and MACOM stioning plans. Serves as a conduit between RIST, theID, IMCOM
G-9, and the Garrisons to facilite communicions vital to IMCOM support of Garrison mission readiness and execution requirements. Directs !askers, inquiries, reports, requests da, assistance, and/or any other communicions to approprie organizions or personnel to ensure action is taken in a timely and accure manner. Presents findings, results, and recommendions to RD and IMCOM leaders through briefings and other formal presentions. Participes and/or leads workshops and meetings to promote a better understanding within the IMCOM staff of the roles, missions, and services provided to Garrisons and its customers.- Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Stement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulion, ded 30 August 1993.
QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT.
Must include least one year of experience performing duties a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position. Progressive experience performing duties reled to those described above. This experience must include one year equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level to include: Demonstred expert knowledge of Army organizions, structure, missions, functions, responsibilities, operions, and relionships with an emphasis on staff action processes and procedures. Comprehensive experience managing morale and recreion programs for a large, diverse populion, which included least three of the following: Sports, fitness, and aquics (management of fitness centers, team/intramural sports, and pool operions); childcare/youth programs; business operions of multiple programs (such as bowling, food and beverage management, retail, travel/tourism); hospitality management; or family programs (social, welfare, family advocacy). Experience applying a wide range of management and program analytical and evaluion methods and techniques designed to identify program deficiencies and develop recommendions for improvement. Experience developing and delivering briefings and other formal presentions to inform, advise, persuade, and defend complex ideas which impact all levels within a large organizion. Experience supervising subordine staff to include performance management, conflict resolution, training, discipline, and successful team building.
