Construction Superintendent

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of construction processes on Residential & Commercial Buildings Duties Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, laborers, and suppliers to ensure timely project completion. Troubleshoots any issues involving workers, contractors, safety, quality, changes, or processes and expedites solutions to keep the project on track. Manage project budgets, including estimating costs and tracking expenses using different software's. Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure milestones are met efficiently. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and owner to ensure project specifications are met. Ensures project sites are maintained clear of construction debris, safety hazards, and clean. Able to layout homes & commercial building projects Prepare and review contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies. Experience Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction management principles, including budgeting, project scheduling, and estimating. Knowledge is a plus in using construction management software (e.g., HeavyBid, Prolog, ProCore). Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflicts effectively. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work both individually and as a team with minimum supervision. Ability to oversee and coordinate a variety of people/trades. Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Clean driving record. Pay will depend on experience & knowledge.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to travel within 75 miles No overnight stays required. Ability to work nights and weekends and out of town, based on business needs. Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather. Physically able to climb ladders and lift objects up to fifty pounds.
