Position Overview:

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for on-site coordination, quality control, scheduling, and execution of all construction activities. This role ensures that the project progresses efficiently, safely, and according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day on-site construction operations.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
• Maintain project schedule and adjust workflow to meet milestones.
• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
• Identify and resolve issues, delays, or conflicts as they arise.
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers, clients, architects, and engineers.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including daily logs, inspection reports, and material deliveries.
• Enforce safety protocols and lead site safety meetings (Toolbox Talks).
• Manage materials, equipment, and manpower resources on-site.
• Support project closeout, including final inspections and punch list completion.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in general construction
• Knowledge of construction processes, means, methods, and best practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Familiarity with construction management software is a plus.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver's license
