Μst have NJ Board of Pharmacy license. Join Pharma-Care and our team of Consultant Pharmacists to provide top quality patient-focused services throughout New Jersey. Our complete spectrum of services will allow you to apply your skills in a Behavioral Health setting. Our Consultant Pharmacists are professionals who are trained to share responsibility for the patient's medication regimen, thorough knowledge of clinical outcomes, quality assurance, state and federal regulations, and health care education. This position pays $48.00 - $50.00 per hour. Qualified Minorities and/or Women are Encouraged to Apply. EOE/AA. Benefits Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Prescription drug coverage 401K with company match Paid Life Insurance Flex Spending Account (FSA) Flexible work schedule Holiday pay Paid time off Paid sick leave Responsibilities Review new admission regimens to comply with facility policies and the appropriateness and effectiveness of medication regimens. &Area of focus will include the use of psychoactive medications. &Apply specialized knowledge of the scientific and clinical use of medications; including medication action, dosing, adverse effects, and drug interactions. Active role in the development and implementation of protocols and drug utilization. Monitor medication administration / safety through performance indicator reviews and data presentations.
Staff education:
Provide education to the nursing staff through in-services and education material.
Interdisciplinary relationships:
Strives to develop a good working relationship with the medical and nursing staff in addition to other multidisciplinary departments by actively seeking out opportunities to improve patient care. The practitioner routinely attends meetings, Pharmacy & Therapeutics committee and Medication Safety committee.
