Job Description
Lindstrom Restoration is hiring a Contents Technician. We've been restoring homes for 75+ years and are proud to be a 3rd-generation family business based in Plymouth, Minnesota. All of our work stays within about 35 miles of Plymouth. We are not interested in selling out or scaling for scale's sake. We care deeply about our people, our clients, and doing the work the right way. We know we're doing things right because our business is built on repeat clients and referrals. This role matters. When contents work is done right, projects move forward, clients trust us, and nothing gets lost or damaged. When it's done poorly, everything slows down and problems stack up. We are looking for someone who takes pride in being the reason things go right. What We Do We are a design-restore construction company, that also responds to emergencies 24/7 365 days a year. Restoration is where craftsmanship, logistics, and care for people all collide. We restore homes damaged by fire, water, storms, and structural failures — and we do it with intention, not shortcuts. Contents work is one of the most detail-sensitive parts of what we do. We are handling people's personal property during difficult moments. Accuracy and care matter. What This Role Does As a Contents Technician, you are responsible for executing assigned contents-related work within our production system. In plain terms, you will: Pack, inventory, clean, and process contents from residential and commercial properties Protect contents from damage, loss, or misidentification Document work accurately (inventory, labor logs, daily updates) Handle contents in warehouse and vault storage environments Operate equipment such as forklifts and lifts (training provided as needed) Assist with cleaning, debris removal, and job site preparation Work within assigned scope and escalate issues when needed You are not expected to manage projects, lead teams, or make scope decisions. Your job is to execute your assigned work cleanly, consistently, and correctly.
