What a Project Manager does We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Contract Furniture Project Manager to lead and oversee the successful execution of contract furniture projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Duties Lead end-to-end project management for contract furniture installations, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, develop detailed project scopes, and communicate progress effectively. Utilize software such as Bluebeam to develop accurate estimates, schedules, and project documentation. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise execution of design intent. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to procure materials, schedule deliveries, and manage on-site activities. Monitor on-site activities to ensure compliance with standards, quality requirements, and contractual obligations. Manage project budgets by tracking costs against estimates Prepare reports on project status, risks, and milestones for stakeholders. Ensure timely completion of projects by effectively managing project schedules Facilitate communication between design teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients to maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Experience Proven experience in construction management or project management within the furniture or interior fit-out industry. Strong background in construction estimating and project scheduling Hands-on experience with blueprint reading and schematics interpretation Familiarity with construction management software such as Bluebeam or similar platforms. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines. Construction site experience is highly preferred to understand on-the-ground challenges effectively. Excellent time management skills combined with strong communication abilities for effective project coordination.
