Control Room Operator

Position Summary The Control Room Operator is responsible for monitoring and controlling the pyrolysis process using the plant control system. This position ensures the system operates safely, efficiently, and within operating parameters while coordinating plant activities with the operations crew. Key Responsibilities Monitor and control plant operations through PLC/HMI systems Adjust process variables including temperature, feed rates, and system pressures Monitor emissions and filtration systems Coordinate plant operations with technicians and maintenance personnel Maintain detailed operational logs and production data Identify abnormal conditions and initiate corrective actions Support plant start-up and shutdown procedures Ensure compliance with environmental and safety requirements Qualifications Industrial plant or manufacturing operations experience required Experience with control systems or industrial automation required Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to remain focused in a control environment for extended periods Preferred Experience Waste processing Chemical or thermal processing Power plant or industrial plant operations

Pay:

$22.68 - $27.32 per hour
