Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our accounting practices. The Controller will oversee all financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance activities, while supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in contracting finance, project management, and construction management software to drive operational excellence. Responsibilities Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger management. Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Manage project budgets, cost controls, and financial forecasting for multiple construction projects. Collaborate with project managers to monitor project costs, schedules, and profitability. Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve financial processes. Lead audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with industry standards. Provide leadership in project coordination efforts by integrating financial insights into project planning and execution. Support the development of construction estimates by leveraging construction estimating skills and blueprint reading expertise. Requirements Proven experience in construction finance or accounting with a strong understanding of construction site operations. Solid knowledge of project scheduling, project management principles, and construction site safety protocols. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.

Pay:

$100,000.00 per year
