Controls Engineer

Controls Engineer programs, designs, and commissions PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for industrial automation projects across multiple customer environments. Job Requirements 5+ years of controls engineering experience preferred, with consideration for 3-4 years of strong Rockwell experience Proficiency in PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming and troubleshooting Strong experience with Rockwell / Allen-Bradley platforms Experience with RSLogix and FactoryTalk View Experience with CompactLogix, ControlLogix, MicroLogix, SLC, or similar controllers Design experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD tools Experience with industrial networks such as Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and Modbus Experience with commissioning and field startup Experience developing PLC programs from scratch Experience troubleshooting industrial control systems in production or field environments Preferred Skills Experience with Siemens or Schneider Electric platforms Experience with Ignition Experience with Modicon controllers Experience with robotics Experience in agricultural, food and beverage, or general industrial markets Experience working in smaller integrator environments Job Responsibilities Develop PLC programs from scratch for industrial automation systems Program, troubleshoot, and support HMI and SCADA applications Design electrical control systems using AutoCAD Electrical or similar tools Configure and support Rockwell / Allen-Bradley control platforms Support industrial network integration including Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and Modbus Perform commissioning and field startup activities Troubleshoot control system issues during build, startup, and production support Support automation projects across agricultural, food and beverage, and industrial applications
