293304742 Job Description We are currently looking for an experienced cook! This position is for a local Restaurant in Shelton, WA. Responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of foods while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and food safety. The role requires attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Ensure food is presented in an appealing and consistent manner Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to management Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service Adapt to special dietary needs or customer requests when required

Requirements & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role preferred Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Attention to detail and organizational skills Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays High school diploma or equivalent (culinary training is a plus)
