Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong background in meal preparation within the food service industry. As a Cook, you will be responsible for creating delicious and nutritious meals while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Assist in meal preparation for special dietary needs as required. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality meals. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary. Utilize kitchen equipment safely, including knives, ovens, and other cooking appliances. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food industry standards is essential. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for kitchen hygiene. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
