Duties Assist in preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines Support menu planning by suggesting nutritious and appealing meal options Handle food with proper safety and hygiene practices, including food handling and storage Serve meals to residents or customers with professionalism and courtesy Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment to meet health standards Contribute to catering events or special meal services as needed Support food preparation activities such as chopping, portioning, and plating Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide preferred Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures Experience with meal preparation, cooking, and food service in a restaurant or food industry setting Strong knife skills and proficiency in kitchen tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning Ability to follow recipes accurately and contribute to menu planning efforts Excellent communication skills for serving residents or customers effectively Basic understanding of catering services and food industry standards Join our team where your culinary talents will shine!
